DESCRIPTION
Stunning villa with exclusive design in the family-friendly Roche residential area on the Costa de la Luz.
This extraordinary holiday home is much more than just a place to stay – it is a show house, a walk-in design concept. Designed by an internationally active architect and interior designer, it combines architectural clarity, sensual materiality and a strong design signature. All the materials used have been carefully curated from across Europe and staged in a finely tuned interplay within the different room zones. Every surface, every texture and every colour has been deliberately chosen and is part of an overarching design concept that not only defines spaces but also brings them to life.
Unusual colour combinations and extraordinary surfaces refer to the architectural language of Californian modernism.
The result is an exciting balance of calm and expression, of reduction and character – a house that inspires and that does not merely display design, but lives it. Every element can be touched, used and tested for its functionality and comfort – quite naturally, without staging, without distance. Here, design is not explained, but experienced.
It is a show house because all materials, furniture, art and decorative items can also be purchased. For this reason, the decoration changes constantly and the house can be experienced anew each time.
This holiday home is aimed at guests who are looking for something special: people with an appreciation for architecture, aesthetics and atmosphere. A retreat that will remain in your memory. What makes the layout of this house so special is the clear architectural idea of a central, public space connected to two independent private areas. The spacious living area forms the heart of the house and combines living space, fireplace area, dining area and open-plan kitchen into a flowing sequence of rooms. This living space flows seamlessly into the terrace and pool area, allowing the interior and exterior spaces to merge almost seamlessly. This main zone is designed as the public area of the house – a place for meeting, exchanging ideas and sharing experiences.
Two independent, lockable living areas open up from this central space. Each wing combines two bedrooms with two bathrooms and forms a self-contained retreat. The wings are accessible exclusively via the public living area, thus guaranteeing maximum privacy and tranquillity. This clear zoning allows even two independent families to share the house without sacrificing privacy – an architectural concept that enables community without forcing proximity.
The extraordinary design of the house is complemented by an equally well-planned technical concept. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and can also be heated by underfloor heating. This creates a balanced, pleasant indoor climate in every season, adapting unobtrusively to individual needs. The fireplace acts as an emotional focal point, combining technical function with atmospheric warmth and giving the house a calm, inviting sense of security, especially in the cooler months. The outdoor area also meets this standard of comfort. The heated swimming pool extends the usability of the house far beyond the classic summer months and makes a stay here a special experience in every season. This holiday home thus becomes a year-round retreat that perfectly balances design, technology and quality of life.
The newly designed show house is not intended as a counter-concept, but rather as a contemporary interpretation of its Andalusian location. This approach is particularly evident in the outdoor area and in the building envelope, which incorporates regional references while also speaking a clear, modern architectural language.
A continuous, low wall element forms the central design feature of the outdoor space. It structures and zones the area around the pool, creating sheltered retreats while also enabling open, communicative areas through the deliberate widening and opening of its lines. This creates a differentiated sequence of private and public outdoor areas and lends the outdoor space a natural, Mediterranean serenity.
Adjacent to the terrace and pool area is a spacious garden that gently surrounds the house, lending the ensemble an additional sense of space and tranquillity. Its comprehensive design echoes the architecture and forms a natural transition between the built space and the landscape. The garden has been carefully landscaped with local Mediterranean vegetation: oleander, pine trees and palm trees provide structure and shade, while the characteristic variety of cacti lends the outdoor space an authentic Andalusian touch.
